Charles Leclerc takes aim at 'vocal' George Russell after F1 penalty

Charles Leclerc has taken aim at "vocal" George Russell following the incident which led to a double penalty for the Hungarian Grand Prix pole-sitter.  In the closing stages, as he battled a car problem, Leclerc was being caught by Mercedes driver Russell for the final podium spot as the latter went for a move into Turn 1.  Leclerc aggressively defended the corner, with Russell exclaiming over the radio: "That was moving under braking, it is clearly not allowed." The stewards handed Leclerc a five-second time penalty immediately for the move as Russell passed for third on the next lap in the same place. Leclerc's misery was then compounded after the stewards handed him one penalty point on his super-licence for "driving erratically" - his first for the 12-month period.  Reflecting, Leclerc singled out Russell's "vocal" nature on the team radio. "I knew I was on the limit, but I don't have much opinion about it," Leclerc told media, including RacingNews365.  "I felt like I moved before braking and then I braked, and obviously angled my car towards the apex, which is what I normally do.  "But I can imagine George being quite vocal on the radio, which is normally the case. "I don't mind it happening in a race like this.  "If there was a safety car late in the race and I took a five-second penalty, I would have probably been a lot more frustrated, but it wasn't the case."
