For the first time this season in a grand prix, Ferrari will be on
pole position after a stunning Charles Leclerc lap denied McLaren.
Oscar Piastri was on provisional pole from Lando Norris after the
first Q3 runs, but both were caught out by the wind changing
direction in Q3 to allow Leclerc to steal in. It is the Scuderia's
first pole since Carlos Sainz in Mexico last season, as McLaren
chase a 200th grand prix win if they can pass the Monegasque.
Elsewhere, Max Verstappen is only eighth for Red Bull, with Lewis
Hamilton achieving his worst-ever starting position, on pure pace,
in Hungary with 12th. He was last in 2014 due to an engine fire.
