Yuki Tsunoda will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from the pit lane
after taking a new power unit in the back of his RB21. The move,
which usually comes with a grid penalty, will instead see the Red
Bull driver start from the pits as parc ferme conditions are in
effect. Specifically, the Japanese driver has been equipped with a
new internal combustion engine (ICE), his fifth of the year and one
over the allowed four. That is true also of the new turbocharger
(TC), motor generator unit-heat (MGU-H) and motor generator
unit-kinetic (MGU-K) in the back of his RB21. He also has a new
exhaust system, his sixth this campaign of an allowed eight. The
25-year-old had qualified in P16 after his fourth Q1 knock-out in
qualifying in the last eight rounds.
