Oliver Bearman has been issued a 10-place grid penalty for the Monaco Grand Prix following an infringement during Friday practice. Bearman was summoned to see the stewards for an alleged red flag infringement during the second practice session around the historic track. The Haas driver was found to have overtaken Williams' Carlos Sainz while a red flag was deployed. A messy second practice outing saw two red flags deployed during the session, first for a crash for Isack Hadjar and again for an incident involving Oscar Piastri. F1 stewards are normally strict when it comes to regulations under red flag conditions, which is designed to completely neutralise the track. As well as having a 10-place grid penalty imposed, Bearman has also been handed two penalty points on his super licence - taking his total to four across the last 12 months. Any driver that accumulates 12 points in 12 months is issued a race ban.
