Round 14 of the F1 campaign sees the Hungaroing host the Hungarian
Grand Prix. The track has long been present on the F1 schedule and
has had its fair share of dramatic moments throughout its history.
Following the sprint format in Belgium last time out, the
traditional schedule of three practice sessions before qualifying
and the grand prix will return. The opening day of on-track action
on Friday is set to be held in dry conditions with the sun shining
on the track. A temperature of 28 to 30 degrees is expected, with a
light to moderate breeze blowing from the southwest. Saturday will
see the final practice outing be followed by the qualifying session
that sets the grid for the main event. Conditions are set to remain
clear during FP3, with the temperature hovering around 26 degrees
with little wind. The risk of rain increases slightly later in the
afternoon but the chances of the track getting saturated during
qualifying are slim. However, those chances increase dramatically
for the grand prix. The day is set to start quite sunny and warm,
but right around the start of the race, it will feel muggy, and
cumulus clouds will form. Scattered heavy rain or thunderstorms are
forecast to develop, but it's difficult to determine at this time
whether these showers will also reach the circuit - however, it's
certainly not out of the question for Sunday afternoon.
