F1 fans have decided that they would like to see Christian Horner
make a stunning move to Ferrari, according to the results of a
RacingNews365. Horner was sacked by Red Bull on Wednesday, ending
his 20-year stint at the helm, with Racing Bulls boss Laurent
Mekies taking his place. After the news, RacingNews365 opened a
poll to ask fans what they felt Horner should do next following his
dismissal, presenting a number of viable options. A bombshell move
to link up with Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari emerged victorious,
earning 32.09% of the vote. However, it must be noted that
'Ferrari' did not receive an absolute majority of votes in the
poll, it simply gathered the most votes from the options. Current
Scuderia boss Fred Vasseur's position has been under the spotlight
in recent weeks, given Ferrari's poor season, by its pre-season
expectations of challenging for the title, with Horner being
heavily-linked to the position, but he ruled himself out.
Elsewhere, moves to either Aston Martin or Alpine also proved
popular, with a move to a rival team earning 68.18% of the total
number of votes cast, as can be seen in the table below. What
should Christian Horner do next after Red Bull sacking?
