Formula 1 is set to return to its normal individual launch events for each team ahead of next season, following this year's remarkable F1 75 event. RacingNews365 understands that a repeat of the joint launch event which took place at the O2 Arena in London last February was never an option for 2026, due to the new regulations. To celebrate F1's 75th anniversary, all 10 teams joined together to unveil their liveries for the current season in a glitzy sold out show, hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall. The event could be revived in the future in a different city, but the introduction of the new power unit regulations is too significant a hurdle for another joint launch event to take place. This is due to the teams fielding entirely new cars next season, with a first of two pre-season tests expected to take place at the end of January in Barcelona. As a result, any joint launch event would have to take place in the opening weeks of the year, a feat which is unrealistic given the stress and demands already on the teams ahead of next season. It means each team will unveil its livery and car for the new power unit regulations in its own bespoke event, as has traditionally been the case until this year.
