Oscar Piastri has history behind him as he prepares to start the
Dutch Grand Prix from pole position. The championship leader
stunned team-mate Lando Norris to earn Zandvoort pole by just
0.012s and strike a crucial psychological blow after Norris had
dominated the weekend by topping all three practice sessions.
Since F1 returned to Zandvoort in 2021, all four races have been
won from pole position, meaning Piastri is the favourite for the
win and to extend his championship lead over Norris. Behind the
all-McLaren front row will be Max Verstappen in third after a
stewards' investigation for a minor incident, with Isack Hadjar
stunning for Racing Bulls in fourth. Lewis Hamilton returned to Q3
for Ferrari and was an upbeat seventh. Check out the full 2025 F1
