Yuki Tsunoda and Gabriel Bortoleto could face consequences from the stewards at the Canadian Grand Prix for alleged red flag infringements during FP3 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Both were initially noted by the race director before their potential infractions were escalated to full investigations after the session. Bortoleto finished the hour in P19 with Tsunoda the only driver slower, in P20. It is not yet clear which rules the pair have potentially fallen foul of. 20 minutes into the session in Montreal Oscar Piastri brought out the red flag after hitting the Wall of Champions , leaving debris strewn across the track. Lando Norris topped FP3 , from Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
