Magny-Cours WorldSSP FP1 Results | Valentin Debise on top at home

In the opening session of the weekend at Magny-Cours it is home rider, Valentin Debise, who claims top spot at home.

Despite the World Supersport front runners finding their way to the top of the time sheets there was also some potentially lesser known riders that found their way to the top of the order.

At home it was Valentin Debise who claimed top spot in the opening Free Practice session of the weekend. Debise is the home hero in the WorldSSP class and has had a strong start to his home round of the season.

Adrian Huertas, a rider who is heavily linked to replace Jonathan Rea in WorldSBK, put together a good opening session at Magny-Cours. The young Spanish rider found his way to second place in FP1.

Championship leader, Nicolo Bulega, who is WorldSBK bound for 2024 finished FP1 in third place on board his Ducati V2.

Another home rider, Andy Verdoia, found his way to the top end of the time sheet just like Debise as he finished the opening session in fourth place.

The top Triumph in the World Supersport class was Niki Tuuli. The Finnish rider found his way up to fifth place in FP1 in France.

Raffaele de Rosa is one of the most experienced World Supersport rider on the grid and finished sixth place in the opening session in Magny-Cours.

Simon Jespersen is making his WorldSSP return this weekend at Magny-Cours and has a good start to his weekend as he finished seventh place in FP1.

Two Italian riders finished eighth and ninth place in FP1 with both Federico Caricasulo and Lorenzo Dalla Porta inside the top ten.

Rounding out the top ten was the only Ten Kate rider inside the top ten with Jorge Navarro.
