Mercedes and Haas are the only two F1 teams to have delivered any
upgrades to the United States Grand Prix, as teams turn attention
to 2026. The development focus for all teams is now on the huge
regulation changes coming into force for 2026, but some upgrades
are still trickling through, but only two of the 10 teams have
brought any new parts to Austin. Mercedes' is small, just a
reprofiled upper lip and reduced span winglets upgrade to the rear
corner. The hope is that it will improve the local air-flow quality
around the top wishbone and to increase tyre clearance. As for
Haas, it has delivered a huge package, focusing on the floor of the
VF-25. Featuring a new floor body, floor fences, floor edges,
sidepod inlets and a rear corner winglet, the package comprises the
first big package for the team since the British Grand Prix.
Esteban Ocon is to run the new parts during the sole practice
session in Austin, with a second set available for Oliver Bearman.
