The Monaco Grand Prix will feature a radical new rule this weekend, designed to try and improve on the turgid spectacle of 2024. Last year, the first lap red flag for the huge Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen accident meant the field could change tyres under the suspension, and then run to the end without making any live pitstops. Strategy is often one of the only variables which can spice up the Monaco GP, the other being weather, and so with that in mind, F1 and the FIA have made changes for 2025. Essentially, every driver must make at least two pit-stops in the race. How they do this is entirely up to the teams and drivers themselves. It is therefore possible to stop on Lap 1 and again on Lap 2 and run until the end of the race on Lap 78, for example. But will it work? In the latest RacingNews365 poll, we simply want to know whether you think Monaco's new two-stop rule will have any impact on the racing in the Principality.
