Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari
When Lewis Hamilton and Scuderia Ferrari officially announced their decision to join forces starting from the 2025 Formula 1 season, it was February 1st, and therefore the Prancing Horse fans knew they had to wait ten months to see the English driver enter Maranello.
And as expected there is no interview in which Frederic Vasseur isn’t asked about Lewis Hamilton and his arrival in Ferrari. Although the team principal is trying to stay focused on the current Formula 1 championship, even in his conversation with Sky Italia, he expressed words of appreciation towards the British champion: “We certainly know the positive aspects of Lewis’s arrival, such as his great experience. Everyone since the beginning of the season says that George Russell is faster than him, but at the moment he is the one who has brought more points to Mercedes. So, in terms of efficiency, I believe he is a good point of reference.” – the French manager pointed out.
Charles Leclerc and the Ferrari SF-24 updates
Frederic Vasseur also talked about Charles Leclerc’s recent ups and downs: “He has had some problems in recent weekends, but I still think he is clear-headed and the fact is that sometimes we have overreacted collectively. Going back on the updates was not an easy decision, but we made it. We lost two months, but we have other solutions in preparation, and we are positive and dynamic.” – the Ferrari team principal concluded.
