Max Verstappen will start the British Grand Prix from pole position
after topping qualifying at Silverstone. The McLaren duo of Oscar
Piastri and Lando Norris secured second and third on the grid,
ahead of George Russell and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton. Whilst
Verstappen secured pole, his Red Bull team-mate Yuki Tsunoda
suffered another early qualifying exit and starts from 11th after
being promoted two places due to grid penalties. Kimi Antonelli
had qualified in seventh, but will start from 10th following a
three-place grid penalty for crashing into Verstappen in Austria.
The other penalised driver is Oliver Bearman, who received a
10-place grid penalty following a bizarre red flag infringement in
third practice, demoting him to 18th. NOTE: Grid remains
provisional until officially confirmed by the FIA. Adjusted
