Oscar Piastri scored his first Sprint pole of the season in a
crushing performance in the Belgian Grand Prix qualifying session.
A 1:40.510 was nearly half-a-second clear of Max Verstappen in
second and 0.618s up on team-mate Lando Norris in third as Charles
Leclerc was fourth. It is Piastri's third Sprint pole overall, and
first not in Qatar having done so in 2023 and 2024, winning both
times. Elsewhere, Lewis Hamilton will be only 18th following a
rear-locking incident in SQ1. Check out the full 2025 F1 Belgian
