The 2025 F1 Belgian Grand Prix will be a wet race as rain storms
batter Spa. Throughout the weekend, conditions have been dry, but
on Sunday morning, the rain started to come down heavy, with rivers
forming across the track as FIA F3 went out for the formation lap
for their feature race. After three cars spun, including two in a
collision on the Kemmel Straight due to a lack of visibility, red
flags were flown as the cars formed up in the pit-lane. The rain
has shown no sign of easing up during the suspension, which
occurred shortly after 0840 local time. As of 0850 local time, the
FIA's official weather system reports a 100% chance of rain, with
intermittent rain throughout the morning, including in the slot for
FIA F2. By the time of the F1 race at 1500 local, there is
expected to a be a 60% chance of rain, with possible
thunderstorms. If conditions for the F1 race are as such as they
were for the FIA F3 race, it is unlikely to go ahead. THIS ARTICLE
