Nine drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, are at risk of a grid
penalty from this weekend's British Grand Prix, following several
engine changes throughout the paddock. Hamilton, Charles Leclerc,
Yuki Tsunoda, George Russell, Kimi Antonelli, Fernando Alonso,
Oliver Bearman, Lance Stroll and Carlos Sainz are the nine drivers
at risk. Both Ferraris, both Mercedes, Tsunoda, Alonso and Bearman
have been fitted with their final legal Internal Combustion Engine
(ICE), Turbocharger (TC), Motor generator unit-heat (MGU-H) and
Motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K). In addition, both Ferraris,
Stroll and Sainz have received their final Energy store (ES),
whilst Stroll and Sainz have also received their final Control
electronics (CE). Should any of the nine drivers require a new
engine element of which it has been fitted with the last legal one
within their pool, then a grid penalty will be awarded. Elsewhere,
Max Verstappen has received a new MGU-K and Exhaust, but still has
legal new parts remaining in both pools, whilst both Oscar Piastri
and Lando Norrs have been fitted with a new ICE, MGU-H and MGU-K –
Piastri also has a new exhaust. Both Racing Bulls drivers and both
Stake F1 drivers have also received new engine components, but are
not at risk of a grid penalty. Drivers at risk of a grid penalty
