Cadillac front-row sweep in Hypercar, Aston Martin edges LMGT3

Cadillac Hertz Team Jota dominated Hyperpole qualifying for the WEC Six Hours of Fuji at Fuji International Speedway, securing a front-row lockout. Alex Lynn fired the no. 12 Cadillac to pole with an impressive 1m28.236s, more than four-tenths clear of Earl Bamber in the no. 38 sister car. The no. 009 Aston Martin Thor Team completed the top three to line up directly behind the Cadillac duo.

LMGT3 goes down to the wire

In LMGT3, Eduardo Barrichello — son of former F1 driver Rubens Barrichello — delivered a superb lap to put the no. 10 Racing Spirit of Le Mans Aston Martin on class pole with a 1m39.981s. He edged the no. 95 United Autosports entry by just 0.030s, with the no. 59 United Autosports making it a two-three for the team.
