Chadwick: Verstappen right back in the title fight

Jamie Chadwick believes Max Verstappen is firmly back in the championship hunt against McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, declaring that it’s "game time again" after the Dutchman’s commanding Azerbaijan Grand Prix victory.

Baku mastery reignites momentum

In tricky conditions, Verstappen took pole while rivals faltered — Piastri and Charles Leclerc crashed, Lewis Hamilton was out in Q2 and Norris made errors in Q3. The Red Bull driver converted pole to a composed win, his second in a row, cutting the deficit to 69 points with just under 200 available.

“Spring in his step again”

"No notes for Max. It was phenomenal," Chadwick said on the Sky F1 Show podcast, adding that Red Bull appears to have found something with the car. She noted a palpable shift in Verstappen’s demeanour: "He’s got this sort of spring in his step again… now it’s game time again." While the task remains sizeable, Chadwick warned against ruling him out.
