Verstappen cools title talk after Singapore
After finishing second at Marina Bay, Max Verstappen moved to dampen any talk of a late title surge. Candid about Red Bull’s form, he said the team wasn’t in the kind of dominant window required to overturn the deficit at this stage.
Issues, but a solid result
Verstappen wrestled with downshift, braking and balance issues throughout the race, yet still kept faster cars at bay when it mattered. He conceded that “this track is still not our favourite” and stressed the need to understand the niggles before Austin.
