Formula E championship leader Oliver Rowland secured pole position for the second race of the Tokyo E-Prix. The Nissan driver delivered once again in the Japanese capital after beating Dan Ticktum in the final duel. However, Ticktum encountered an issue in the final. Reigning world champion Pascal Wehrlein leads the second row and will start from third, with two-time FE champion Jean-Eric Vergne alongside him in fourth. Edoardo Mortara completes the top five.
