Lotus Boss Steps Down After Setting Hugely Ambitious Sales Goals

Lotus's Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Johnstone, is on the way out, according to an interview recently conducted with Road and Track. Johnstone joined the company a year and a half ago after leaving Volvo, also owned by parent company Geely. During his tenure, he implemented an ambitious plan that would see the company sell 150,000 electric vehicles like the Eletre annually by 2028, but it appears he'll no longer be leading the charge to see it through.
