The Enjoy Illinois 300 at Gateway last Sunday was chaotic, with a record 18 cautions. Several of those were caused by brake rotors overheating and snapping, affecting Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Chris Buescher, Zane Smith, and Noah Gragson.
