The 2025 Miami Grand Prix could be hit by growing thunderstorms, potentially causing disruption to the sixth round of the F1 season.  As of 10:30 local time in Miami (15:30 UK), the weather is clear with only a few rain cells bubbling away to the south of the city.  However, as the afternoon progresses to the 16:00 local time start (21:00 UK), thunderstorm cells will move across the city from the east, coming in from the Gulf of Mexico. By 14:00 local, the thunderstorms are expected to start with the worst battering Miami just as the race is scheduled to begin.  At this time, there is a 99% chance of rain, as per Weather.com, with the winds coming from the South South East. There is currently set to be a weather window at 18:00 local where the thuderstorms are expected to cease, with the track set to dry quickly as was evidenced during the Sprint race, which was delayed due to heavy rain.  However, the drivers were all able to switch to slicks for the final laps.  This article will be updated at 14:00 local time in Miami, 19:00 in the UK.
