F1 fans believe Lando Norris is under the most pressure to succeed
in the second half of the season, and not championship leader Oscar
Piastri. With half of the season's 24 races now in the books,
Piastri leads team-mate Norris by the slender margin of eight
points as the two battle to land a first drivers' world
championship title, with the battle set to continue at Spa for this
weekend's Belgian Grand Prix. Neither has fought for an F1 title
before, with Norris initially making a series of blunders early in
the season, as Piastri won four of the first six races. However,
Norris has won three of the last five to reduce Piastri's lead.
Both drivers featured among the options presented in a
RacingNews365 poll to ask fans who they believed would be under the
most pressure in the second batch of 12 races this season. In the
poll, Norris was the winner, receiving 31.18% of the total votes
cast, which is not an outright majority, but the most of the
available options. Piastri received just 8.24%, with the two split
by three options - namely new Red Bull boss Laurent Mekies on
25.29%, Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton on 14.71% and Max Verstappen on
10.59%. Mekies is stepping up to replace the sacked Christian
Horner at Red Bull this weekend, and must try to turn the team
around following a stagnation in performance under Horner, whilst
Hamilton is still searching for a maiden GP podium for Ferrari in
an underwhelming first season in red. Check out the full results

most under pressure in the second-half of F1 2025?
