Red Bull's staggering record for the most points scored in an F1
season has been heavily backed to fall this year, to the hands of
McLaren. In a recent RacingNews365 poll, fans were asked to vote
as to whether they believe Red Bull's record-breaking 2023 total of
860 points will be broken by McLaren this year. The Woking-based
outfit already boasts a 238-point lead in the constructors' title
over Ferrari, with a second consecutive crown looking increasingly
likely. Between them, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris have scored
460 points across the first half of the season. If the McLaren duo
can match this in the second half of the year, the papaya squad
will end the campaign on a record-breaking 920 points. Given the
performance of both drivers and McLaren's MCL39, 79.6% of those who
voted believe Red Bull's record will be broken. In more detail,
35.2% expect the record to be broken by over 40 points, something
it is currently on track to do. 28.4% believe McLaren will break
the record by between 20-40 points, whilst 20.4% back Red Bull's
record to stand. Check out the full poll results below! Will
