2024 F1 Imola GP: special poster featuring Ayrton Senna unveiled – PHOTO

The Imola Grand Prix is drawing closer, and preparations are intensifying to honor the 30 years since Ayrton Senna’s death. The event will take place from May 17th to 19th as scheduled by the FIA calendar.

“The ‘hill of passion’ – filled with fans and flags, where the Prancing Horse reigns supreme – and the Autodromo Tower, a historic symbol of the sports facility. These constitute the striking backdrop of the official poster of the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2024,” reads the Autodromo’s official statement.

“In the poster, characterized by the tricolor background, stand out the three most anticipated drivers for the Romagna event. Charles Leclerc in his sixth season with the Maranello team. The three-time world champion Max Verstappen, who with Red Bull has won the last two editions of the race and has started the 2024 season with two victories. Lewis Hamilton, the most successful in the history of the World Championship.”

The figures of the three drivers are embedded in the layout of the circuit track. Not only that: the notable tower also stands out. But the surprises don’t end here. In the segment of the track leading from Tosa to Piratella, the green, gold, and blue of the Brazilian flag that appeared on Ayrton Senna’s helmet are depicted.

The Imola Grand Prix will be just one of the events organized to honor the Brazilian champion. Last week, the calendar of events organized by the Emilia Romagna Region and the Ayrton Senna Foundation, led by his niece Bianca, was also presented.

Since late March, events have been underway to pay tribute to the great Brazilian champion. In short, everything is ready to remember the Brazilian champion who tragically passed away at Imola 30 years ago.
